The majority of Harambee’s everyday fellowship, friendship, counseling, and mission occurs in Harambee Groups. Harambee Nights

Description: Harambee Nights exists to gather a group of missionaries to bring the good news of Jesus Christ to the hip-hop generation from Renton, South Seattle, and beyond. Our desire is to see multitudes of people of diverse ethnicities and socio-economic backgrounds within the hip-hop generation become true worshipers of God through encountering the power of the good news of Jesus Christ.

Description: Our mission will be driven by the everyday contexts of our group members. We will serve as God leads us in various locations. We will also be working through the Transformation Series. The emphasis will be on an understanding of what we let God reveal to us. We will not just be quickly pushing through the material, but spending time on each issue as the group has need.
Rainier Valley

Description: We are followers of Jesus committed to ministering to the people of South Seattle, with a specific focus in the Rainier Valley and the surrounding neighborhoods. We believe Jesus is calling us to follow His example in loving the marginalized of society, which includes many of the people living in Rainier Valley. As the Spirits leads us, we will live the gospel in incarnational and sacrificial ways with the hope of seeing a reproducing fellowship birthed in the Rainier Valley. We invite anyone whose burden is the same to go on mission with us.
Tukwila Group

Description: Our vision will be to collectively explore how we can live out the gospel in our mission fields, with a focus on the Tukwila/SeaTac area. We will be using our neighborhood as a practical exercise in taking the gospel to a culture. The material will be group specific, but most likely utilizing the How People Change material, and it's extension to our Mission.
Northeast Tacoma/Federal Way

Description: The NE Tacoma/Federal Way group is a small group dedicated to learning how to impact our community for Christ through missional living. In addition to our normal study time, we've adopted a family for Christmas and volunteered labor to assist local flood victims. During our group time, we are attempting to go beyond normal "bible study" and get to know each other enough to hold each other accountable to our mission, partially by including time each week to hear one person's story.
Downtown Renton Group

Description: We are gathering as the gospel to the downtown Renton and Skyway. As we God's story penetrates deeper into our hearts, we are being equipped as missionaries in our everyday circumstances. We are passionate about our neighbors, workplaces and children.
